Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Kinlendar (the "Service"), a shared family calendar and organizer. The Service is provided by VBA LLC ("we", "us"). When you use the Service you are contracting with VBA LLC.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be of legal age to form a binding contract where you live, or use the Service with permission of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private, for all activity under your account, and for giving accurate information.

3. The Service

Kinlendar lets families share calendars, lists, reminders, birthdays, recipes, trip expenses and contacts. Some features are only available with a paid Premium subscription. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, family use within your plan.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes:

  • using it for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm others;
  • fraud, spam or sending unsolicited messages;
  • uploading content that infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
  • interfering with security, including malware, probing, scraping or attempts to get around limits;
  • reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the Service.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you add, such as events, notes and photos. You give us a limited license to store and process it only to provide the Service to you and your family members.

6. Our intellectual property

VBA LLC owns the Service, including its software, design, documentation and the Kinlendar name and logo. These terms do not give you any rights to them beyond using the Service.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Premium is billed monthly or yearly and renews automatically until cancelled. Free trials convert to a paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations and refunds are also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep Kinlendar running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change or discontinue features.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time. When access ends, we may delete your data after a reasonable period.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties such as merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. VBA LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data or missed appointments. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which VBA LLC is organized.
